AUM Curriculum

Aum is the ancient spelling of “om”—the omniscient sound of our source existence, the symbol of the vast unknowable goodness at the center of our creation. Curriculum AUM is the vessel for learning how to practice ANYA—inexhaustible grace—as a daily way of life.

Curriculum AUM is prescriptive, and is organized by a governing template that remains constant across 19 domains or “Faculties” to create a cohesive course of study encompassing a vast continuum of subjects. Mnemonic devices structure the governing template to provide learning aids for the retention and delivery of core concepts as practiced techniques. While each of the 19 Faculties are inexorably linked, they can also exist independently.

Each Faculty follows the same mnenomic sequencing based on the sound vibration of aum as aa~uu~mmm in seven components, or the amount of information bits the conscious mind can organize at one given time:

aauummm

1. Atmatype

2. Anatomical Assessment

3. Unit

4. Unconscious Utilities

5. Movement

6. Meditation

7. Musings

Curriculum AUM is like a kaleidoscopic lens for viewing the self from all angles. Each Faculty provides zoom-in and zoom-out options for seeing and feeling the choices we make in our moment-to-moment existence, processing what we have witnessed and framing it accordingly so that we believe “all colors are the friends of their neighbors and the lovers of their opposites.”
