F18. The Teacher (The Elephant) : our master sage, the one who translates the vast unknowable to the other faculties, the one who streamlines the message by rarifying the micro and the macro to a simple solution-focused lesson plan. The Teacher is not only able to walk the talk but also knows what it feels like to wear the shoes of all the other faculties. To “affect alchemy” the teacher empathizes with the level of arrogance associated with simplifying the sophisticated to the masses. Translating amicability begins with a script of information presented to students in allegorically relevant stories. Practicing amicability by actively creating understanding – will over time- begin to transmute an arrogance-related disdain to an amicability-inspired diagnostic. During this phase of change we can study the lives and works of Hillel the Elder, Mother Theresa, Albert Einstein and Maria Montessori for guiding wisdom. To further cultivate the empathizing acuity of our teacher we can repeat “Aum” and master the globe hands mudra and the effervescent halo mist yantra. “Teach love!
